Trail Fix Racer Update #3
Dear Trail Fix'ers,
Thank you all so very much for joining us for the inaugural Trail Fix Relay! We have thoroughly enjoyed bringing this experience together for you - it's a project that's been in the works for over a year, but a vision we've had for so much longer. We sincerely hope that you had a fantastic time on Saturday, and that you will share your stories with others so that we may grow this Fix for years to come!

As you can imagine, a trail course covering this much distance involves a LOT of permits and permissions, so while we'd love to announce next year's date right away, we've got some work to do first! Our hope is to re-launch trailfix.ca within the next couple of months, complete with full details on what we'll have in store for Year 2. There will most definitely be a Trail Fix in 2020, so please do check back soon!
Complete results and leg split times are now available on the 'Results & Photos' page. Note that we will be shipping out medals to the 2nd and 3rd place teams in each category who weren't recognized on the podium post-race. Should you have any questions around how the results work, please feel free to get in touch at info@stormevents.ca

Photos courtesy of Jason Sheridan, Paula Zondag and Janis Jarvis are also available as well. You all looked amazing out there! These pics have also been posted to our Facebook page - feel free to tag yourself and/or your teammates!
From our side things looked pretty darn good, but it really doesn't matter how we saw it. As with any all-new event, your feedback is truly invaluable, and we would greatly appreciate hearing what you liked or disliked; what you thought worked well, or what you might like to see done differently. If you have a moment, please feel free to send any thoughts you may have to info@stormevents.ca

And if you DID enjoy yourselves out there, any testimonials you could offer would go a long way with helping us lock things in for future years. Land managers and owners tend to be much more willing to sign off on permits for events that are well-received, so if you would like to share some love, please feel free to do so on our Facebook Reviews page, or with a Google Review at goo.gl/mcVMGS
This whole shin-dig was a pretty big undertaking, and it couldn't possibly have been done without the help and support of some pretty amazing groups and individuals:

We are also greatly appreciative to the Town of Caledon, Credit Valley Conservation, Ontario Heritage Trust, Ontario Parks, and the Toronto Region Conservation Authority, for allowing us to come play on their spectacular trail systems. This is a truly special area to run in, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to do so!
Once again, thank you all for joining us - we hope to see you again next year!

Your Trail Fix Team
