Dear St. Louis Families,
We end our month of February with some warmer weather, some more time outside at recess, time reflecting over the Stations of the Cross, and students spreading acts of love and kindness throughout the building and at home. We have had a full week of instruction and look very much forward to engaging in more Lenten activities throughout the month of March.
Beginning next week, students will attend mass in person following our weekly rotation from the fall. Classes will sit in cohorts and will be spaced out according to requirements and wearing a mask. We are grateful for the opportunity to be able to celebrate in the full mass and have students receive the Holy Eucharist. Also starting next week, school-wide we will be celebrating literacy and reading all month long! Mrs. Krut will kickstart our month of reading with some fun Dr. Seuss inspired activities March 2nd and March 3rd. We encourage families to participate at home by finding time to read with your children. We have some great prizes and incentives for class participation as well as individual participation---to help support and encourage our students in their reading, Mrs. Krut will open our online Book Fair. Information is provided below.
Please join us for morning prayer and announcements each day at 8:30am. Prayers generally don’t last but a few minutes and are a great way to start the day off--we find the day goes so much better when it begins in prayer and song. 😊
In this Lenten season, let us remember to pray for one another and the personal crosses we bear.
Wishing you a blessed weekend!
