As we move into the fall season we would like to t h ank you for being a member of the Prayer Partner Alliance and for keeping this ministry in your prayers! Protected Harbor is a faith-based, non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to glorify God by raising funds to pay for the construction and on-going maintenance of group homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is through prayer that we are able to provide God's special people with a home they can call their own.  As a partner in this journey, your support encourages us every step of the way.  We thank you for your continued support and for keeping this ministry in your prayers!

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support.
May God richly bless you!
For HIS Glory,

Re-launch of the
Prayer Partner Alliance Newsletter!

Protected Harbor would like to announce the re-launch of the "Prayer Partner Alliance Newsletter." As an organization, we want to ensure that God, residents, supporters, and staff all remain connected. The "Prayer Partner Alliance Newsletter" allows for every individual involved with Protected Harbor to remain updated with prayer requests and news related to the progress of our mission. Almost twenty years after conceptualizing the mission of Protected Harbor, by the grace of God, we have formed a strong group of supporters. We pray that we remain close to one another and God, and adhere to the mission we have all been called to serve. From all of us at Protected Harbor, we thank you for being a Prayer Partner.   Click Here to read the story of Protected Harbor.

We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator

Protected Harbor is still looking for a volunteer to serve as a coordinator of all of our volunteers. This volunteer position includes coordinating groups who want to do a service project with the coed or women's home, contacting volunteers (by phone or email), and thanking them for their contributions in a variety of ways. It also includes working with volunteer lists on the computer. The time commitment is about 5 hours per week. You can make a real difference in the lives of our residents and manage the generous people who are kind enough to donate their time by volunteering.

Protected Harbor Monthly Devotional

Welcome to our monthly devotional. This month we ponder: "You do not have because you do not ask God." James 4:2b (NIV) by giving all of our gratitude to God. We know that none of what has happened with Protected Harbor would be possible if it were not for God. Click Here to read our monthly devotional.

Increase Your Impact
Through Monthly Giving

Did you know that a recurring gift of $100 given each month throughout the year can be more impactful than a single gift of $1,200? When you pledge to give a monthly gift, you provide Protected Harbor with an ongoing source of income that can help sustain the programming over time.

Your monthly gift of any size will help sustain the work we are doing in the lives of our residents. Whether you have a special place in your heart for the ladies' home, want to help the coed residents grow and thrive in their homes, or have a vision for what comes next in this ministry, your gift will make a real and lasting difference.

Your generosity allows us to act on God's Will as we move forward in our work.  Please prayerfully consider making a monthly gift today!
