RACIAL EQUITY HABIT BUILDING
Change is hard. Creating effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of power, privilege, supremacy and leadership is like any lifestyle change. Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started. The good news is, there is an abundance of resources just waiting to empower you to be a more effective player in the quest for equity and justice.

Starting this Saturday, August 1, 2020,you are invited to join the 21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge©, created by Dr. Eddie Moore, a diversity educator. This will be a starting point for individuals to advance deeper understandings of the intersections of race, power, privilege, supremacy and oppression. more
PRAYING TOGETHER
Please join us on Monday evenings beginning on August 3 at 7 p.m. via Zoom to join with others for a time of prayer and renewal. Come whenever you would like. Email Pastor Shirley for the signup link. We will share prayer concerns that we bring to this meeting. Also, we will name those who have been on the Prayer List during the Sunday Morning Worship Service. Learn more
YOUR OPINION MATTERS!
Our leadership seeks your input as we strive to be the church God is calling us to be during these extraordinary times. Here is the link to an online survey to help us evaluate our online ministries and plan for the fall. It should only take about 10 minutes and is anonymous. Thank you in advance for helping Dayspring to flourish during this challenging season! Take the survey
VOTE
All eligible voters should be able to vote safely and securely in the upcoming elections. One way to do this is to vote by mail. You can check your voter registration status at www.BeBallotReady.vote (a Maricopa County Recorder's website). On that site, you can make a one-time or a permanent request to get your ballot by mail. THE DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY, July 24 to get a mail-in ballot for the August primary election. As this is an open primary, voters who do not have a political party designation must select either a Republican or Democratic party ballot.
BE COUNTED
Shape the future of your congregation, neighborhood, and community by supporting the 2020 Census. Over the next 10 years, data from the 2020 Census will inform the distribution of hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funds each year that support education, health care, emergency services, housing and food assistance, and more.
