Downtown Auburn BID  is a state designated district of residents,
business & property owners, organizations and government entities.

By means of advocacy, marketing, promotion, event planning & collaborative efforts, the BID is committed to enhancing the appearance, economic viability and quality of  life of the downtown Auburn community.

Trash/Recycle Schedule
BID is assisting property owners & tenants follow the City's recycling program. This week is PLASTIC, METAL, NEWSPAPER & GLASS Please dispose of contained trash & recyclables properly to keep downtown clean.  NO personal trash or BLACK BAGS please, and  DO NOT put out trash until after 5PM .

BID T-Shirts Available
Time: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM

REVERSE ANGLE Parking
Backing into parking spots has been proven as safer, offering improved visibility when exiting vehicles, accessing car trunk space and exiting parking spaces. Reverse angle parking is being implemented on Genesee Street between Loop Road (near Wegmans) and the Cayuga County Office Building at 160 Genesee Street. Basic steps are drive just past the open space and stop, turn on your signal, and back into the space. Please be patient and don't follow too closely to let your fellow drivers back in.  For more info visit

Downtown City Garage Parking & Long Term Lots
Reminder: Upper level parking is free for the first two hours; thereafter it costs $1 per hour, with a $6 daily maximum fee. Discounted rates apply with the purchase of a long-term parking permit available for one month and up to a year.

Long Term Parking Lots
Court Street parking lot is located near the Auburn YMCA & Cayuga County Office Building. The lot is serviced by parking meters, with a maximum time limit of 10 hours. Dill Street parking lot is behind Lattimore Hall, to the right. The lot is serviced by a drive-up kiosk, with a maximum time limit of 8 hours. Seminary Avenue parking lot is behind Speno's Music, Liberty Store & Moro's Table. The lot is serviced by a drive-up kiosk, with a time limit of 8 hours.
