Students were welcomed on the first day of school by faculty and staff as student council members handed out donuts.
Picture Day
Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will have their school pictures taken on Tuesday, August 20. Students should wear shirt and tie. Seniors who have not had their Senior Picture taken will need to wear a shirt, tie, and jacket.

Please download and complete the Picture Day Form and bring it August 20 even if you do not intend to purchase a photo package as the form is used by Tom Paule Photography to create students' photo IDs.
Back to School Night
Parents are invited to meet their son's teachers on Wednesday, August 21, from 6:30-7:30 pm. Parents also interested in learning about the new student information software called Blackbaud can attend parent help sessions from 6-6:30 pm or 7:30-8 pm in Griffins' Cafe and visit the online Blackbaud Reference Guide.
Students in grades 10-12 will be introduced to Blackbaud during their class meetings next week with freshmen having completed their training during orientation.
Parents' Club Meeting
Parents are invited to the first Parents' Club meeting of the school year on Thursday, September 5, at 7 pm in Griffins' Cafe. The topic will be the new student information software called Blackbaud. Parents who attend will be entered into a raffle for free textbooks.

Vianney Mixer
All students in grades 9-12 are invited to the Vianney Mixer hosted by our Student Council. The mixer is Saturday, August 24, from 7-10 pm with students able to leave at 9:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $7 in Griffins' Cafe during lunch or for $10 at the door.
Grandparents' Mass & Breakfast
Our 2019 Grandparents' Mass & Breakfast is Sunday, September 8. Please ensure we have current addresses for your grandparents.

Lacrosse Meeting
Students interested in playing lacrosse are invited to an informational meeting with their parents on September 3 from 7-7:30 pm in Griffins' Cafe. Learn about fall activities, key dates, and the spring season. This is not a sign-up meeting but just information for new and returning players. Griffins' Cafe
Vianney will offer MySchoolBucks as our payment system beginning August 26. Students should bring cash or existing cafe cards until that date. MySchoolBucks allows you to deposit up to $150 at a time to an online student account to securely pay for meals in Griffins' Cafe. Visit MySchoolBucks or download the mobile app to register your student using his formal name and birthdate. There is a $2.49 program fee per deposit. Cash and existing cafe cards will continue to be accepted in Griffins' Cafe.
