Sunday, September 15 following our church service we encourage everyone to stay for a simple meal of grilled hamburgers and the fixings. Free will donation. Following the meal, will be a time of information, interaction and intercession. We will get an update from our search team on the process of finding our next pastor. We will also hear an update on the remodeling of the new addition. Questions will be fielded for each of these updates. We will conclude with a time of intercession for our church's future.
Wednesday Night Meal 5:30 PM. You do not need to sign up - just come and eat. Free will donations accepted. This meal is available to the entire Discovery Family. The menu will be published ahead of time. Different groups will be preparing the meal.

Wednesday Night Opening 6:30 PM everyone will gather in the worship center for a brief time of music and announcements. Following the opening, everyone will be dismissed to their respective classes.
Adult Bible Study — Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, will watch the next session His Truth is Marching On  in the video series Built  by Louis Giglio. What does it mean to be built? How do we build a life that, like a wisely built house, stands the test of time?  Built  dives into what it means to let Jesus build your life like a house, from the foundation to the rooftop.
Revival , for students 6th-12th grade, Wednesdays night. We will meet in the worship center at 6:30 PM and then go to "The Attic".
Discovery Zone for Kids , for children age 4—5th grade, Wednesdays. We will meet in the worship center at 6:30 PM and then go to our respective classes.

Women’s Tuesday Bible Study meets Tuesdays, 5:30 PM. We are studying Romans Part II. All women are invited—even if you missed out on Romans I. No child care.
Women’s Bible Study meets Thursdays at 9:00 AM downstairs at Discovery. We will continue our study of Romans. All women are invited. Child care available. Questions? Contact the church office at (605) 689-2211 or here.
Christmas Cantata calling all singers to our first practice Sunday, September 22, following the worship service for the Christmas cantata entitled “The Greatest Story Ever Told”. Books of the entire cantata will be available as well downloadable listening CD’s and rehearsal tracks for each part. The cantata along with the children’s parts will be presented to the public on December 15 at 6:00 PM. Ladies Fall Craft Event will be Saturday, October 19, 9:30–11:30 AM. More information to follow. 
WANTED: 1. Pieces of cotton fabric in fall colors-especially oranges & golds, (Samples are by the back door). 2.CLEAN plastic grocery bags (like you get when buying groceries) 3. fiber fill/stuffing 4. pine cones 5. plastic Easter eggs. Please leave all donations by the back door before September 23. QUESTIONS?
