Granite State Woodturners
September Meeting
The Sept 28th meeting of the Granite State Woodturners will be held at Highland Hardwood in Brentwood, NH. Head east or west on Route 101 to exit 7, head south on Rte 125, about 2 miles, Highland is on the left.
There are a few changes to note:
The business meeting is from 9 am to 9:30 am, lets keep it short and sweet, everyone! We will be setting the schedule for 2020, so your input is most needed.
The turning event is from 9:30-12:30 as Highland closes for the day at 1pm.
We still need several talented and showstopping turners to turn on one of five lathes from 9:30 to 12:30 and then to man the brooms and help clean up. The lathes will all be 1x8tpi but you will need to bring everything you need. As the loss of small parts continues to haunt these turning demos, there will be NO faceplates, spurs, live or dead centers, chucks, keys or wood provided. Just the lathes and extension cords. If you have discovered missing pieces left over from Sunapee, please return them to Jim Forbes at this event. Thanks for checking.
Also there is a change on the special discounts...Only 8/4 Curly Soft Maple...the 12/4 has sold out.
The Shorts special will be 40% off 8/4 and thicker shorts.
If your are interested in participating as a demonstrator, please contact Annamarie at
a.pennucci@yahoo.com for signups. If you are only interested in attending the Annual Meeting, please notify Ken Kuster,
kenkuster@comcast.net.
