Hello!

First we want to thank our community for showing up strong at our Chili Cook-off Benefiting Smithsburg Community Fire Department. Together we raised $1000! Of the 11 competing teams Matt Malcom took home first place with a traditional fire house chili - in fact Matt's recipe is what our firemen eat at the station! Thank you to all the teams and judges who made a successful event.

Our 2019 harvest has begun with Chardonnay and Chardonel. Both grape varietals look stunning and ripened beautifully in this year's near perfect conditions. We are excited to see what these grapes will do in tank. Stay tuned for updates!

We have some really exciting events happening through September. Make sure you mark your calendars ---

9/21 Goats, Yoga, & Wine. Amanda Bowen, yoga instructor and owner of GoatToBeZen, returns with her herd of goats for a fun day in the vineyard. Enjoy 60-minutes of yoga, 30-minutes of snuggles, and a glass of wine. The first session is at 12:00 and the second session begins at 1:30. 

9/28 The Second Annual Craft Beverage Festival brings back Cushwa Brewing, Orchid Cellar Meadery, and Distillery Lane Ciderworks for sampling of wine, beer, mead, and cider. Each ticket includes four FULL pours, a souvenir glass, and music by Djangolaya and Leo DiSanto. This is a don't miss event!

As always join us for the Summer Music Series every Saturday and Sunday through September. Live music is performed from 5:00-7:00. Enjoy the patio in good weather or join us indoors in the event of rain. Music moves to Friday night starting in October.
