National Sew A Jelly Roll Day
Dates: Saturday,  September 21
Time: 10am-5pm

National Sew A Jelly Roll Day celebrates quilters of every generation and skill level with this annual event.

If you're a quilter, you collect fabric.  You may also collect "pre-cuts", those tempting packages of many pieces of fabric already cut for you into charming sizes.  They're so popular, there is even a special lingo associated with them - layer cakes and dessert rolls, honey buns and jelly rolls.

Come in any time between 10 AM and 5 PM. We will have door prizes and snacks! There will be jelly rolls and patterns for you to purchase (with your bag a bargain discount) or bring your own with you. Moda also has lots of free downloads in the  bake shop. Please register so we will have a space for you. Bring a friend or three! You will need to bring your own machines and sewing supplies.

We will have "SEW MUCH FUN!"
Software Sampler

SAMPLES!!!
Nicole Lester dropped off her sample for the class she is teaching called "Laura Heine Collage Quilt". Hurry in and see this beauty! You will want to sign up for the class. The link is in the description of the class under "New Classes" above.

Out of Print - This is a great modern quilt using Kaufman fabric and pattern. Big pieces makes it go sooo fast!

Stop by to see my new sample of Hearthstone using Jo Morton's new line Shelbyville. This was an easy one to make with 12.5" blocks and no half square triangles! Yet it has the very graphic traditional look that many of us love. Kits available.

Simple Whatnots 9 Club

Kim Diehl has announced the next series of Simple Whatnots 9 , and I just couldn't wait to share the projects and new fabric line Esther's Heirloom Shirtings. Fabrics won't arrive until December and club will not be able to start before January. I am excited to see that this line has more light colored fabrics than previously, and the projects are wonderful, and what I always expect from Kim Diehl. She does not disappoint!
