The 2022 giving envelopes are now available. You have a couple options to receive your envelopes.
1) Liana will be available on Sunday for a pick up.
2) Email Kristi and we can have them delivered to you.
3) You can pick them up from the office but we need you to email first so that we can prepare the correct box.
Did you guess right?
This week featured Randall's janitorial cart. Aaron B, Mike A, and Deena F pounced on this puzzle faster that you could install a new TP roll.

Join us on Instagram or Facebook for our "Where's that located?" game! 🧐
On Monday we publish an up close and personal image of something on the church property and then see if you can name the item and where it's located. πŸ€”
Partnering with the Community
Crosstown will now be the meeting place for two Girl Scout troops. They will meet on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month at Crosstown starting Dec 11th. The leader came to us after the church they were previously meeting in closed. This is a great opportunity for Crosstown to build relationship with our neighbors.
Praying (with HOPE) for a New Director of Worship Arts
This week, as we are lighting the Bethlehem candle (symbolizing Faith), let's revisit the Parable of the Persistent Widow:

Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up Luke 18:1

"Do not give up on prayer just because it seems as if nothing happens. Rather, keep praying and do not give up!! Even though you may not know how to pray or when to pray or where to pray, may God become your heart's greatest desire, as you use your will to seek Christ in greater fullness.... Develop the habit of prayer, regardless of how you feel." Taken from Cloud Devotion~ Through the Year With The Cloud of Unknowing by David G. Robinson

Let's remember the persistent widow as we pray, and be encouraged by her as we continue to ask Jesus for a new Worship Arts Director.

Thank you for your prayers,

Interim Youth Leader for Wednesday Nights
We are filled with joy to announce that Hector Calvo has agreed to serve on Wednesday evenings as our Interim Youth Leader. In this role of 5 hours/week, Hector’s ministry will be limited to Wednesday night youth gatherings through the end of the school year. Hector is a disciple of Jesus who was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the U.S. at the age of 15. One blessing of this background is that Hector is fluent in both Spanish and English. In recent years, Hector has served on the staff of Destino Covenant Church. He and his wife, Pierina, have three young children.

***Celebration of Angie's ministry will be Sunday, Dec 19th***
