Words from Weisner
Carmen Bzdafka and Raquel Hazel are working together as our new cafeteria co-managers. Carmen was in the cafeteria last year with Mrs. Pasini so she is familiar with the food management process. They will provide consistency in preparing and serving food for the students. Special thanks to Shannon Payer and Gloria Jahahn for their great assistance with this transition.

Just a reminder that Terra Nova Tests are next week (the week of October 14). Tests run Monday through Friday from 8:30 – 11:30. Please make sure there are no appointments scheduled in the morning for your children and also ensure that they get a good breakfast before coming to school.

Student Council presentations are being held this week. The students who are interested in running for office will be presenting their speeches to the study body today with elections on Friday.

Until next week,
Janet Weisner
Safety Reminders
Just a few safety reminders regarding the streets around the school

  • There are No Parking zones on both sides of Fair Ave. Signs are posted indicating the boundaries of the School Zone. This zone is enforced by The City of Columbus Police between the hours of 7a-9a and 2p-4p. You could receive a ticket.
  • You (parents and students) MUST cross in the crosswalk. Please do not cross in unmarked zones.
  • When the yellow lights are flashing in the school zone, the speed limit is 20 mph
  • No U-turns can be made in the school zone.

These are laws that are in place for the safety of you and your family. Thank you for your attention going forward.
