Business owners urged to attend ... online!
Wednesday meetings seek your input
on Whitefish Transportation Plan
The City of Whitefish is in the process of updating its 10-year-old Transportation Plan, and will be hosting a trio of online "listening sessions" this Wednesday to gather input from local residents and business owners.
The updated document will provide a 20-year, long-range transportation plan for the City, responding to growth and other changing conditions that affect the flow of vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians to (and through) our community.
The Whitefish area has seen dramatic growth and development over the 10-years since the existing Whitefish Transportation Plan was approved in 2010. The updated plan will establish goals, initiatives and projects to address the needs facing the City both now and in the future.
'Listening Sessions' set for this Wednesday
To get the process started, local business owners are invited to participate in one of three online "Listening Sessions" this Wednesday, to provide on-the-ground input from those who are most familiar with our local transit problems ... business owners and residents. The meetings will be held online via the WebEx videoconferencing platform, from 1-2:30 p.m., 3-4:30 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m.
To take part in one of Wednesday's listening sessions, email [email protected] to get the WebEx log-in information.
