Dear Saint Rose Families, 

Happy October to all of you! September is always a month of adjustment each school year. October seems to be the month when school hits full stride. Students and teachers are settled in, classwork and assignments are routine, and standardized testing is concluded.  
This year Saint Rose invested in Edmentum Exact Path, a digital program that will take each student's NWEA MAP score and create an individualized digital plan of study. Digital lessons will be prepared to remediate growth areas and to capitalize on areas of strength. The recent fall MAP scores will be entered into the Exact Path and students will have individual lessons in math and reading. Students will work on Exact Path in the classroom and at home. Saint Rose focused on Exact Path as part of its latest strategic plan. Coincidentally, it appears to be a great tool to support our students as they regain ground from last spring.

Jack-O-Lantern Display

Let's see everyone's best Jack-O-Lantern carving skills this fall with the Saint Rose School Jack-O-Lantern Display. Pumpkins will be provided to our families free of charge thanks to the generosity of a friend of Saint Rose School and Monnette's Market.  
Uniform Update

Please note the uniform update regarding cold weather and gym classes:

Gym Class

Sweatshirts: On gym days, students may wear crewneck sweatshirts from either the spirit wear sale or any of the official gym uniform sites, i.e. Jupmode. No hoodies should be worn.

Students may wear sweatpants from either the spirit wear sale or Jupmode gym uniform website.

Students may wear navy blue, royal blue or gray sweatpants with a Saint Rose iron on patch, available for sale in the school office. Placement of the patch should be on the front pocket area. 

**Jupmode has expanded its supply of gym uniform sweatpants and sweatshirts for students to wear throughout the day.

Regular In-Class Wear
On Non-gym days, students may wear crewneck sweatshirts, school fleece with the crest, button down cardigan with crest, or v-neck sweater with crest.
