Madison Heights, MI – With the theme “Crisis, Challenges, and Change – Creating A Path to a New Normal,” the Association of Chinese Americans (ACA) held the fifth annual B3 Leadership Summit which is a two-night program including a thought-starter presentation and panel discussion on July 16

followed by a Career Planning Presentation, one-on-one private Resume Coaching and Advisory Chat sessions on July 23
rd
. Following both night programs, participants were invited to Networking sessions where the participants were very engaged throughout the gathering. The crowd on both nights were filled with community professionals and friends. It was an amazing event, filled with great energy and motivation.

The B3 Leadership Summit is co-hosted by OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates (OCA National) and its Detroit Chapter-ACA. Launched in 2009, B3: Build, Breakthrough & Believe is a professional and leadership development program for aspiring Asian Pacific American (APA) professionals interested in taking their personal and professional goals to the next level through leadership development and networking.
This year’s B3 SPEAKER TEAM is joined by seven subject matter experts and speakers from various industries and fields who are directly involved in caring for post-pandemic workforce. They are Dr. May Chen - Associate Professor of National Central University in Taiwan, Henry Tanaka - recently retired Academic Dean of Art, Design and Humanities at Oakland Community College, Lisa Allen - Organizational Change Manager of Comerica Bank, Paula Cunningham - State Director of AARP Michigan, Farzan Siddiqui MD, PhD, CPE, Vice - Chair of Radiation Oncology at Henry Ford Health System, Sue Sun-LaSovage - Managing Director of Ashford Connex, and David Chang - Chief of Enterprise Agility and Business Platforms at Comerica Bank.
