Updates: Hancock County Public Library
COME IN, WE'RE OPEN!
Mon.-Fri., 10 AM-6 PM
Sat., 9 AM-1 PM
Sun., Closed

Our buildings are open on a limited schedule. For your safety, we're cleaning surfaces frequently, wearing masks, social distancing, and putting returned items in temporary quarantine.

While it's not required, we encourage you to wear a mask.
NEW! CONTACTLESS DELIVERY
The library now offers contactless, home delivery for people with certain conditions or situations that prevent them from visiting our buildings.
RETURNS = NO FINES
Now that the library is open, please return any items with dates that fell due during our closure.

When you return these materials, we'll remove the fines from your card.

You may also have items that were assumed lost by our system, but returning them should clear your account.

Can't make it during limited hours? Our drop boxes are open for returns 24/7.
NEED A STACK OF BOOKS FOR KIDS?
Request books by subject or theme (such as trains, bedtime stories, fairy tales) and we'll gather them for you.
LOG YOUR READING TIME THRU AUGUST 1
If you haven't already, join our summer reading club.

Simply track your reading time, whether you read alone or with your family, and earn digital tickets into prize drawings.
We're here to help. Librarians are available for online chats during hours when the buildings are open.
