Plans Move Forward to Create Hunterdon’s First Riverside Park






With eyes on creating the first riverfront county park and connecting economic and recreational opportunities for residents, visitors and businesses alike, Hunterdon has taken next steps towards creating a park along the Delaware River, with plans to connect the new park, to be located in Milford, with Frenchtown via trail.  



Hunterdon Grants Continue to Support Local Economic Development Projects

Four new economic development grants designed to improve the economic and business climates for Lambertville, Frenchtown, Milford, and Kingwood Township were approved in May. The grants are being used primarily to review local ordinances and procedures so as to encourage local investment.

Economic Development Makes Funding Available to Local Merchant Associations
 
In response to the economic impacts of COVID-19, Hunterdon County expanded its Economic Development Municipal Grant Program to include local merchant groups and nonprofit business associations. The county hopes these groups can help them bolster small businesses in their communities.
