STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Meet new staff member Dr. Agnes Burt who will run our Community Project Grants!
Agnes Burt was born and grew up in southern New Hampshire. She received her B.A. from The Catholic University of America, majoring in history and English literature, and completed her Ph.D. in history at Boston University. Her dissertation focused on the late-nineteenth century women’s movement and married women’s efforts to be recognized as individuals with legal rights. While researching and writing her dissertation she lived in London, Boston, and Washington, DC. She’s excited to be returning to the Granite State to join New Hampshire Humanities, and is thrilled to be able to enjoy New Hampshire’s beautiful fall weather again.
