IRS Issues Standard Mileage Rates For 2020
The Internal Revenue Service issued the 2020 standard mileage rate for calculating reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle for business purposes. The Oracle Expense system has been updated per IRS guidance.

There is no action required from you . Effective January 1, 2020, the standard mileage rate will be $0.575/mile.

Clery Act Reporting
Pursuant to the Clery Act, Rutgers University is required to disclose on an annual basis certain reported crime statistics that occur during University sponsored / arranged domestic and international student trips. Rutgers community members who are administratively responsible for domestic and international student trips are expected to report student trip information to the Rutgers University Police Department for compliance.

New Contracts
Temporary Staffing (Nursing) Contract

Rutgers has contracted with several staffing agencies to provide temporary nurses such as RNs, LPNs, EMTs and CNA to supplement shortages in the work force, to support special projects, or for peak workloads.

The contracted suppliers will provide expertise and guidance in identifying the most qualified candidates and generate a broader pool of immediately available candidates for short-term appointments.

The approved temporary staffing (nursing) agencies are:
  • Axion Worldwide LLC provides temporary nurses, including RNs, LPNs, EMTs, and CNAs to supplement shortages in the work force, or to support special projects or for peak work loads.

  • Cell Staff LLC provides temporary nurses, including RNs, LPNs, EMTs, and CNAs to supplement shortages in the work force, or to support special projects or for peak work loads.

  • General Healthcare Resources, INC. provides temporary nurses, including RNs, LPNs, EMTs, and CNAs to supplement shortages in the work force, or to support special projects or for peak work loads.
