but set the believers an example in speech,
in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."

Dear MLEPC family and friends,

What a joy it brings me to invite you to worship with our graduating seniors at this year's Youth Sunday service. The service, which will begin at 10:00 AM, will be live streamed from our church's Facebook and YouTube pages as well as a new option to watch on our website from the Streamspot Player page:  https://mlepc.org/watch-here.

Youth Sunday is always an incredible morning of worship, prayer, and Scripture. Nothing is more powerful or moving than witnessing our youth proclaim their faith, trust, and love for our Lord. I encourage all to watch and share the broadcast in support of the graduating seniors, especially considering the abrupt ending to their traditional school years.

This Youth Sunday holds a special place in my heart as our graduating seniors were young incoming freshman when I started ministry here at MLEPC. Together we have journeyed through times of immense joy, grief, laughter, service, and now a pandemic. I watched them enter confirmation class, prayed over them, and now four years later witness them lead as active members in our congregation.

Although bittersweet, nothing brings me more excitement than to watch these seniors enter the next chapter of their lives. It is with a full heart that I foresee the success of these students, having seen so many promising characteristics. They are defined by leadership, fueled by service, act as prayer warriors, and live as disciples. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to walk alongside them, as they have been a huge inspiration to me.

But the story doesn't end there. As they begin their time in college it is our duty to continue to love, support and encourage them as they navigate the world of today's higher education. Just as Paul encouraged Timothy, we are called as a congregation to continue walking with and praying for this group through challenges and triumphs.

I encourage you to join us this Sunday, July 26, at 10:00 AM to celebrate this year's awesome Class of 2020.

In Christ,
Brant Toulouse
