We are delighted to announce the representatives for School Council! After reviewing the five applications received for the positions, Mr. Lin has invited all candidates to serve with him on the Council. Read about them here and come to the MPA meeting on Tuesday, September 24th at 7pm to hear from them in person. Congratulations to all, and thank you for volunteering your time to serve our school community.

HELP WANTED FOR HOLLYWOOD MOVIE
Well, not exactly Hollywood, but we do need some help making a short video in the next week. Do you have skills in this area? We'd love to talk with you. Let us know !
OPEN HOUSE COMING OCTOBER 10TH

On this adults-only night, you will have the opportunity to visit your child's classrooms, see the Hidden in Plain Sight exhibit sponsored by the Coalition for a Safer Community, donate to the Direct Appeal * , enjoy some munchies, and enter to win some raffle prizes.

Doors open at 7pm, with an earlier 6pm meeting for parents of 8th graders traveling on the DC trip. Stay tuned for further details and plan to attend this fun and informative event.

*DIRECT APPEAL?
WHAT'S THAT?
We're glad you asked! Direct Appeal is our "One and Done" fundraiser. No cupcakes to bake, no cars to wash, no magazines to sell—just one donation, once per year. Simple!

Funds are used to support programs and activities beyond what is covered by the regular school budget. You'll learn more about it this week, so stay tuned! And if you're an eager beaver and just can't wait, donate early !

Puppy photo unrelated to the Direct Appeal. Who doesn't love a puppy?

Donate early to the Direct Appeal's
ONE AND DONE campaign!
Every contribution makes a difference.
