The BIG SPEND
BUY LOCAL
#TheBigSpend is a one day buy local campaign designed to encourage Canadians to intentionally shop at local small businesses. The campaign goal is to see $100M spent at small businesses on Saturday, July 25th .

Supporting this sector is vitally important as it represents nearly 70% of all private jobs in Canada.
"The Big Spend is meant to be more than a symbolic gesture of hope. It is a practical step we can take as part of a larger action plan for economic recovering in Canada." The "multiplier effect" of local spending is the catalyst for creating healthy, vibrant communities.

Share your July 25th local purchase story with the tag #TheBigSpend .

Businesses can share this campaign on their social channels and share with in store customers and even place this decal in their shop to let customers know about this campaign.
