SB 778 - Extends Anti-Harassment Training Until 2021
Effective immediately, this bill extends the deadline for employers with five or more employees to provide anti-harassment training by one year -- from January 1, 2020 until January 1, 2021.

This bill gives "employers time to coordinate and guarantee that these important trainings have the greatest impact in improving equality in the workplace."

Journey-Level Certification Exam

Don't Delay! Certify Your Employees as Acceptance Testing Technicians

Soon acceptance testing by certified personnel will be required on all mechanical work for commercial clients. Mechanical contractors can self-inspect with their own certified personnel; otherwise testing will be conducted by a 3rd party.

With only 300 certified acceptance testing technicians statewide, PHCC strongly encourages enrolling your employees in a certification program immediately. 70% of those certified are sheet metal union workers while a minimum of 1200 acceptance testing technicans are needed.
