Virginia “Ginny” Hurd
February 3rd, 1937 - March 13th, 2021
Today we mourn the death of our friend Virginia “Ginny” Hurd. I remember speaking with Virginia in Bible study when she told me how lucky we were that God loves us and cares for us. She is right, we are so thankful for Jesus.
Virginia has been in the care of Castle Peak for some time and I am grateful that I was able to see her yesterday. I prayed and read her God’s incredible Word. I promised her that God loves her, that he died for her, and that soon she would be in His loving care. Though she was unable to move, she had a tear well up in the corner of her left eye. Ginny knew God’s love and His promises. At 6:08 a.m. this morning, she was called home. As we mourn the loss of our friend, please continue to pray for her family and rest in the blessed assurance of the resurrection.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." John 11:25-26
God’s peace be with you all,
Pastor Austin
