New Women's Life Group
I've been working from home for years...before working from home became cool. Because of that, most of the day-to-day mundane household tasks have become my "work breaks." I've come to love these mundane tasks. They are my quiet time, my "serve my family" time, my therapy, my prayer time. While I fold laundry, do dishes, empty the dishwasher and load it for what seems like the 3rd time that day, I listen to worship music and the Lord speaks to me powerfully through the lyrics. Have you ever had a worship song really speak into your circumstances and bring peace or direction or encouragement?
Recently He has put it on my heart to bring together other women in a small group setting to share this experience. Not the folding laundry and the dishes! But listening to contemporary Christian music to see what the Lord will say to us. It's different, I know...but I feel it could be a powerful way to connect with each other and with God. Every two weeks you will receive a link to a song that will be the basis of our discussion. We will also connect it to Scripture. You can listen to it while you are doing your own mundane tasks, or riding in the car, or whatever works for you. We will meet as a group and use the song to discuss what we hear the Lord saying to us...and then we will pray for each other.
The group will meet every 2 weeks, likely at the church and we will follow all Covid related requirements. We will decide on the specific day/time once we gauge the interest. If you are interested in joining this small group please reach out to me, Meredith Boyer by text/phone at 843-637-0901 or email at Meredith441@gmail.com
