A warm South welcome to Travis Parks!
South Church is pleased to welcome Travis Parks to our ministry staff! For the next year, Travis will be working in partnership with Pastor Neil to lead the Cutting Edge College Ministry. During this year, Travis will remain on staff with the Navigators and Pastor Neil will lead Cutting Edge. In May of 2021, Travis will become the sole official college pastor at South. At this time, Pastor Neil will transition to discipleship ministries at South. Travis and his wife Laura have been deeply valued members of our congregation for years and we are excited for this new role; and of course we look forward to the great work the Lord is bringing to Pastor Neil after 32 outstanding years of loving service in college ministry.
WORSHIP
Sunday Evening Worship
This Sunday, July 26 at 6 pm, we will worship together at South outside under a big tent. Space is limited to 100 total. Reservations required. Register online or or call the church office (517)322-2000. We will maintain healthy social distances and wear masks. We will cancel in the case of rain. Please be aware of your personal health in your decision to attend.

If you are unable to select a seat, registration is full.

Men in Prayer will be Saturday, August 1 at 8:30 am. We will plan to continue to meet  through Zoom for now.  Find more information on the  South   Church  Men’s Ministry Facebook page or c ontact Pastor Tim at  tvanloh@ south life.org  for Zoom meeting information.
Evangelism Prayer
Please join us in praying for people in our lives to become followers of Jesus. We will be meeting Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am, and Thursday at 9:15 am.  Thursdays we meet in Room 205. You can also continue to join via Zoom.  PLEASE CONTACT PASTOR TIM TO JOIN. 
Putting & Ice Cream at Hawk Hollow
Join us on Thursday, August 13 for another evening of fun & fellowship at Little Hawk Putting Course. Start times are 5:30 and 7:15 pm. Tickets cost $20.00 and support the ministry of City Rescue Mission. At the end of your round, you'll be offered delicious ice cream & invited to hear about the ministry of the Rescue Mission. Bring a friend! Due care will be given to ensure your personal safety.

Pursuing Christ Together
We have decided to move the date back a bit, but we can’t wait for the women of South to gather for a day of practical study where women, unapologetic and unshakeable in their pursuit of Christ, can come together.

NEW DATE: Saturday, September 19 at South Church from 8:30am - 4:15pm.

Thank you for your understanding as we try to navigate the ever changing circumstances to make this event as accessible and comfortable as possible for you to attend.

Faith Lab @ Home
You can still register for FaithLab @ Home VBS. For those participating, don't forget to post pictures of each week's challenge in the Children's Ministry Facebook group - prizes will be handed out each week!
