Citizen's Police Academy
Citizen's Police Academy provides residents with an opportunity for an "up close and personal" view of the Elmhurst Police Department. The next session will begin on March 13, 2019! Classes are held for 12 consecutive Wednesday evenings, and the program is free of charge but limited to those who live or work in Elmhurst. Applications are available to DOWNLOAD HERE  or at the front desk of the police department.  For more information, please contact policeinfo@elmhurst.org or phone (630-530-3061). 





Vehicle Sticker Reminder 
City vehicle stickers must be purchased and displayed by May 1st on all vehicles registered or garaged within city limits. Stickers are sold at a discount from March 1 through April 30. Applications have been mailed to residents, and are available to DOWNLOAD HERE. Stickers can be purchased in person, online or by mail. Money collected through the sale of vehicle stickers goes into the City's General Fund and is used for roadway maintenance and construction.

Elmhurst Proudly Presents its 23rd St. Patricks Day Parade!

Come join the fun, Saturday March 9th starting at noon. The parade will begin at the intersection of Wilson Street and Spring Road and will continue north on Spring Road in Elmhurst.  More info...



Consolidated Elections

The Consolidated Election for municipal, park and school districts will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Early voting will take place from Monday, March 18, 2019 through Saturday, March 30, 2019 at City Hall Council Chambers. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 


Summer Permit Requests 

Thinking of installing a patio, pool, driveway or fence this Summer? Think ahead and get your permit request to the City this Spring. Please plan accordingly for a 6-8 week permit approval process.
