The passion of Caring Partners International (CPI) is to equip churches all over the world with healthcare tools to reach communities for Jesus Christ. By God's grace, our ministry saw this passion fulfilled during CPI's January 2020 medical mission journey to southern Guatemala, where 5 neighboring churches worked together with CPI to minister to both the physical
and
spiritual needs of their own city.
CPI's National Directors in Guatemala, Helmuth & Olga Marroquin, spear-headed the in-country planning and preparation while CPI missionary Andrew Wienhoff led the mission team from the U.S.A. Bill & Jen Wienhoff also assisted by leading daily devotions and taking on various administrative tasks.
The U.S. team consisted of 23 members, including physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and college students, including a Professor and students from University of Cincinnati's Pharmacy school, and also undergrads from Cedarville & Georgetown College. The team came together to treat 781 patients with 60 men, women, and children making decisions for Jesus during our "Clinic of the Soul" prayer station, staffed by members of our 5 Guatemalan partner churches.
Pray for CPI's next medical mission journey to Guatemala, from February 28 - March 5. The CPI team will be serving with a Guatemalan church partner in the town of El Cerrito, where CPI will join together with Cedarville University's Global Outreach Department to send students and their professors "on mission" to the lost & suffering around the world.
