A note from our Co-Presidents

W e hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend. It’s hard to believe Fall is officially here! Back to School Night is this Tuesday, September 24 at 6:30pm. Don’t forget to stop by our Spirit wear table to pick up your Sussex gear! We look forward to seeing you there. 

Our first HSA meeting is this Thursday, September 26th it’s a Welcome Back Breakfast, please join us at 9:30 in the Media Center. Come hear about our volunteer opportunities and meet Mrs. Vaccaro and our new School Counselor Mrs. Brillon. 

Fall Clubs begin  October 7th ; with the exception of Running Club which starts Thursday, October 3rd. A list of clubs along with registration information were sent home with students Friday. Please send completed forms and payments in ASAP as it is first come first serve. 

Our first school store is  October 4th.  Parent volunteers will be needed throughout the day. Sign up to volunteer below.

As part of the new district website project, we are looking to update our Sussex Avenue HSA page. We are looking for someone who is experienced in web design that can assist us to get the page up and running! If you can help us, please email the HSA!
Last week the catalog for fall clubs went home. Clubs begin October 7 and take place after school. If your child wishes to participate, please send in your forms and payment no later than September 27th.


Our First School Store is Friday, October 4. Classes will shop throughout the day. Please see the sign up if you can help out at this event where students can buy locker accessories, school supplies and small gifts!

Our first fundraiser of the year kicks off this Friday. Students will bring home catalogs to sell wrapping/gift supplies as well as food and housewares. Proceeds from this sale benefit HSA programs throughout the year.
