ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL
Friday, October 25
All elementary and junior high students are invited to a Halloween costume and dance party from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at The Cove School. Students can enjoy a pizza dinner, dancing, a photo booth, carnival games, prizes and a quiet space. Fill out the form attached to the flyer above and return to Cove with payment by Friday, October 18.

HALLOWEEN SCHOOL DAY ACTIVITIES
Thursday, October 31
High school students will be treated to bagels with scream cheese and juice compliments of the Parent Association and are encouraged to dress in school appropriate costumes.
Elementary and Junior High students will take part in our annual Halloween parade, followed by festive activities in their classrooms. students are encouraged to bring costumes to school they can change into after lunch. Please bring school appropriate costumes (no masks, weapons-related items or apparel, etc.).

JUNIOR HIGH MALL DAYS
Every Other Friday
The junior high students will begin biweekly trips to eat lunch at Northbrook Court on Friday, September 6. These trips provide the students'
opportunities to utilize skills in the areas of money management, self-advocacy/problem-solving, social communication, safety and functional life skills.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to sign their students up for one or more of our amazing after school activities. There are activities for all interests, including mathematics, robotics, homework help, sports, music and so much more. Please note that parents are responsible for arranging transportation home from after school programs. Be sure to check out two outstanding performance-based opportunities above: Our Sistema Ravinia Music Program (in partnership with the Ravinia Festival) for fourth and fifth graders and our Piven Theater Workshop for junior high and high schoolers. The Sistema Ravinia program provides world-class instruction in percussion, including note reading and rhythmic competency, right at Cove. With the Piven Theater Workshop, an instructor from the acclaimed North Shore performance institution will train Cove students in the theatre arts, right at Cove as well. Join for improvisation, games and theatre fun!
