Episcopal Diocese of San Diego
2020 Year of Discipleship
|
|
In the Diocese of San Diego, Bishop Susan Brown Snook has called us to spend the year 2020 focusing on discipleship: how we grow in faith as followers of Jesus Christ.
Discipleship grows as we adopt spiritual practices for daily living.
Our diocese offers these resources to help you develop spiritual practices as individuals, small groups, and full congregations.
Based on Presiding Bishop Michael Curry’s
Way of Love
these practices are organized to help develop your faith throughout the year 2020.
Yearlong resources such as ChurchNext, Revive and RenewalWorks are also available with diocesan subscriptions. Information and updates will soon be available on the website.
Let’s grow in faith together!

Collect for Sunday
Almighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ is the light of the world: Grant that your people, illumined by your Word and Sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ's glory, that he may be known, worshipped, and obeyed to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and for ever.
Amen.
