A Vision of Commitment and Legacy Realized
For 70 years Weir's Furniture has sat at the prominent corner of Knox and Travis in the Knox neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. In redeveloping this corner, the goal was to create a new office-oriented mixed-use development, preserve the existing façade of the cherished Highland Park Soda Fountain building while integrating the two. The new project will be home to Weir’s Furniture as well as other ground level retail/restaurant spaces, totaling 43,000 SF. Located above is a 12-story, 250,000 square foot office tower capturing excellent views of downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods. An 800-space, 6-level below-grade parking structure will be shared by the mixed-use functions.  ALPHA will install all the below-grade waterproofing, fluid applied air and vapor barrier, hot applied waterproofing and pavers, building and site sealants and all the sheet metal flashing and trim for JE Dunn Construction.
