RSPA Funded QIR Promotion
Announced at RetailNOW, in conjunction with the PCI Council, the RSPA is offering fully funded QIR certifications for members who are first-time applicants. In order to take advantage of this limited-time promotional offer, please follow this two-phase process. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact [email protected]. This promotion expires on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.
Call for Innovation - We're celebrating our members and innovation
The RSPA has collaborated with vendor member Intel to create a Retail Experience Center in our Charlotte headquarters to showcase innovative technologies in the retail IT industry. This gives RSPA members the opportunity to experience next generation products in a hands-on environment.

We're celebrating our members and innovation by showcasing a select grouping of solutions that impact the experience of either the servicing agent, the merchant, or the patron. If you have a product or solution that you feel belongs in the Retail Experience Center, submit a Call for Innovation application and the RSPA may choose to tout and showcase it.

Communication creates opportunity and solutions
I remember sitting in a sales class many years ago. The instructor was stressing the importance of delivering value. She also stressed the importance of making sure the customer was fully aware of the value delivered. Your RSPA team will be more focused than ever before on communication. We know you are immersed in your daily responsibilities. Our job is to make it as seamless as possible for you to get on the RSPA grapevine. We will also continue to listen, as we learn and lead. In the weeks to come, we will be sharing some exciting refinements specific to our events as we transform.

Some of the initiatives to listen for as we enter the fall season:
  • Increased flexibility of event pricing to create more opportunity for our current and future members
  • Education that applies to all functional areas of your business
  • Refreshed exhibit hall with increased focus on NextGEN - innovation
  • Opportunities for our vendor members to trim meeting expense by leveraging RSPA events as you plan your future gatherings
  • Re-introduce Inspire excursions that help to cultivate connections and community

The RSPA Niche & Startup ISV Community helps software developer executives meet and network with fellow RSPA ISV members, helps ISV executives learn from each other's experiences and insights, and fosters business development opportunities for RSPA ISV members, all in a vendor-neutral setting.

The W2W Leader of the Year Award was created to recognize a woman in the Retail Technology Industry, who is determined to reshape the industry and create a smarter and more inclusive future. This honor recognizes a woman who has demonstrated key characteristics of a pioneer paving the way in the Retail Technology Industry. This year's recipient is Linda Sudderth of Epson. Sudderth has over 25 years of experience in our industry. Her professionalism is noticed by all who interact with her, especially in high stress or unpredictable environments.
