Hello Faith Partners,
We have had a lot of exciting things happen in the last couple of months!
Edwina Jackson joined our staff on November 1st as our new Homeowner Services Manager. She is busy preparing for our open application period for our Homeownership Program which begins in January of 2022. Mary Correia and Matty Cash also joined our staff this season and are getting all things ready for our annual Raise the Roof Gala and the Capital Campaign.
Our Home Repair Program has been continuing to serve families in Loudoun County. Our Home Repair Program is an extension of our mission to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. This program has funding available to help families maintain and stay safe in their homes by addressing necessary health, safety, and accessibility repairs.
Finally, we were joined by Deacon Konold of St. Theresa Parish who provided a blessing over the new home of the Ali family during our dedication ceremony on November 13, 2021. The dedication ceremony was an opportunity to give thanks to the many volunteers and donors and to pray for blessings for the family who are now living within these walls.
It has been a blessing serving alongside our faith community and I look forward to partnering with each of you in the new year!
