CFVI Announces Request for Proposals
for up to $1 Million in Total Funding

Eligible Entities Invited to Submit Recovery, Revitalization,
and Building Forward Projects
U.S. Virgin Islands, July 16, 2020   CFVI is pleased to announce a request for proposals for projects/programs that will support ongoing hurricane recovery, revitalization and building forward efforts to enhance the wellbeing of residents and ecosystems across the U.S. Virgin Islands. CFVI will award individual grants of up to $100,000 for a total of up to $1,000,000 in supported projects.

The RFP is being funded through the CFVI Friends and Family Fund for USVI Renewal (FNF), which was established in September 2017 to accommodate donations from CFVI’s family, friends, existing Fund donors, Angel donors, and other partners. The FNF Fund is directed by CFVI’s Board of Directors and is focused on immediate grassroots needs in the community and support for long-term solutions in some of the Foundation’s main areas of focus, including early childhood, youth development, the environment, vulnerable individuals and families, and health/wellbeing.

“In the wake of the 2017 hurricanes, CFVI distributed more than $16 million in grants, scholarships, and other contributions to support relief and recovery. As the Territory continues long-term recovery, CFVI is committed to supporting projects, programs, and initiatives that will support building forward,” said CFVI President, Dee Baecher-Brown.
