Dear Oakbrook families,

With just a little more than two weeks left before the start of the 2020-21 academic year, there are many preparations underway. Throughout our halls, we are cleaning, painting, and decorating classrooms. I am sure you and your students are busy picking out school supplies and clothes for the new school year.

While these are all exciting parts of going back to school, there are some concerns about returning to campus during such an uncertain time. I want you to know that I remain confident in our plan to reopen. Our task force has spent months developing this plan and we will continue to meet and adjust our plan where needed in order to provide the safest possible conditions for our students, teachers, and families.

Our plan to resume face-to-face learning and limit the spread of COVID-19 will only succeed if every student, family, and staff member commits to appropriate public health behavior on and off campus. Therefore, we are requiring each family to join us in the #YOUKNIGHTED pledge before August 14, 2020.  Please click this link to make your commitment!

Many of our teachers, students, and families have expressed their excitement about returning to campus and reuniting with our Oakbrook family. While we eagerly await your return, the health, safety and well-being of our students and staff remains our top priority as we look to a new school year!

If you have missed any of our communications, please visit our COVID-19 Resources page on our website. We will continue to update this page with new information as the school year begins. Here is our latest edition of Frequently Asked Questions.

Once again, I am excited to see our students on campus soon. Thank you for your continued partnership and prayers! Don't forget to take the pledge today!

Go Knights!

In Him,
Kyle Boyles
Head of School
