PANTHER FAMILY HOMECOMING KICKOFF

Join the entire Panther family at Zierolf Field on Sunday, October 6, 2019 for a great day of fun and fellowship. Sign ups for Kick-It kickball teams and cornhole teams is now underway. Trophies will be presented to tournament champions. The day includes free burgers and dogs from the CCAB grill and kids activities leading up to the 14th Annual Powder Puff Flag Football Game. Don't miss it!

2-HOUR DELAY REMINDER
On Tuesday, September 17, SCCS will be on a 2-hour delay. School start time is 9:40am.

PANTHER FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP, GRADES 3-6
Panther Flag Football Camp registration is underway for students in grades 3-6. The camp will meet at Zierolf Field from 10:45am-12:00pm. The cost is $20 and includes a t-shirt. Click here for a registration form.

MARCO'S PIZZA NIGHT
SCCS has partnered again this year with Marco's Pizza, located at 625 East Perkins Avenue, for a monthly fundraising opportunity. 15% of your total order will be donated back to SCCS, 20% if you order online! Families of students in grades K-5, mention your teachers name when ordering. The elementary homeroom with the most orders at the end of the promotion will win a pizza party! This month's Marco's night is Thursday, September 19. Thank you for your support!

ATTENDANCE REMINDER
Per state law, parents are responsible for notifying the school when their student will be absent. Please call the school at 419-626-1892. After school hours, select option 1 from the message menu. You may also send attendance information to [email protected], and be sure to give your student's first and last name. Please do not text or email your child's teacher as the only form of communication. Thank you.

SCHOOL UNIFORM OPTION
Order your school monogrammed uniform polo, vest, or 1/4 zip online at www.bsnteamsports.com access code: SCCS19202 before midnight September 23. The 1/4 zip is a popular option with students for the fall and winter months. Items are available in youth through adult sizes. Please note that light blue polo shirts are permitted for students in grades K-5 only. All orders will be delivered to school and sent home with students
 
EXTENDED DAY HELP NEEDED
There is an aide opening available in our Extended Day after school program. The shift begins at 2:15pm, Monday through Friday. If interested, please contact Mrs. MacMurray at [email protected].

CEDAR POINT STUDENT COUPONS
The weekends of September 13-15 and 20-22 are Student Savings Weekends at Cedar Point! Please stop at the Main Entrance reception desk for a coupon that gives a student and their family members $33 tickets to HalloWeekends, a savings of over $40 per person off of general admission.

GIL KROMER MEMORIAL RUN 
The TLC Class is hosting the Annual Gil Kromer Memorial 2-Mile Run/Walk on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Registration begins at 11:30am, with the race starting at 1:00pm. Proceeds from the race benefit the Gilbert David Kromer Scholarship Fund, established at SCCS.  Click here for an entry form.

PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS

2-HR DELAY MORNING CARE
SCCS is offering morning care on Tuesday, September 17, for the 2-hour delay. Students in preschool through grade 5 may be dropped off beginning at 7:15am, and will be in the Multi-Purpose Room prior to the school start time of 9:40am.

FOOTBALL MINI CHEER CLINIC
On Saturday, October 5, the Panther Cheerleaders will be hosting a football season mini cheer clinic for students in preschool through grade 5. The High School cheerleaders will work with the students to learn healthy nutrition, proper stretching techniques, motions, jumps, sideline chants, group cheer, and dances. Participants will receive a team t-shirt and a special cheer gear item. All participants are invited to join our Panther Cheerleaders during the first quarter of the Varsity football game. MUFFINS WITH MOM
On Thursday, September 26, three year old preschool students are invited to stop by the cafeteria with Mom between 7:15am-8:00am. Four year old preschool, CUB, and K-5 students are invited to The Kinzel Center on Friday, September 27 between 7:15am-8:00am. If mom is unable to attend, another adult is welcome to join. MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL SCHOOL NEWS 


Saturday, September 28 is Life Teen Inspiration at Cedar Point. The day is an opportunity to spend time with other Catholic teens at the park all day and attend an evening of praise, worship, Adoration, and a talk led by a fantastic team.
