Aspiring medical pros have a new career pathway at Cordova High
Students seeking careers in medicine now have a new option to pursue their dreams at Cordova High School. That's because the school has added another distinction that separates its growing International Baccalaureate program from others in the region: Cordova High was recently authorized to offer the IB Career Programme
The IB Career Programme allows students to take rigorous IB courses while also completing a two-year Personal and Professional Skills course.
That means students in the program also can now complete a new, two-year Patient Care career pathway, part of the Folsom Cordova's growing roster of Career Technical Education options for students to explore as they prepare for the real world.
The Patient Care pathway helps set students on a path to potential careers in medicine, everything from doctors to nurses, medical assistants to physical therapists, and more.
