1 golden delicious apple diced  (I assume any apple will do)
1 peeled slice banana
1/4 c. milk
3 ice cubes

Gross Motor Play: Make cow headbands with white and black/brown spots. Make a moon and tape it to the floor or outdoors draw a moon on the sidewalk with chalk. Measure and try jumping over the moon as you say the popular rhyme:
Hey Diddle Diddle the cat and the fiddle
The cow jumped over the moon
The little dog laughed to see such sport and the dish ran away with the spoon

Make a candlestick out of a paper towel roll and tissue paper for the flame.
Repeat the rhyme substituting your child's name or the names of familyJack by nimble Jack be quick. Jack jump over the candlestick

Make a large wall out of show boxes or blocks for humpty dumpty
Or use a favorite stuffed animal and recite the rhyme inserting the name of the stuffed animal

Arts and Crafts:
add washable black paint to playdough or a clay mixture.  Use black chenille stems, pipe cleaners or yarn to make an eensy beensy spider.

Spider webs can be made by putting black paper on the bottom of a box cover or pie plate.  Max white tempera paint or silver paint. Place a marble and two teaspoons of paint on the paper and gentle tilt the pie plate or box cover allowing the marble to roll throuogh the paint creating a spider web design.

decorate paper or cardboard stars with glitter and sequins. hang from the ceiling, or windows. Remember our favorite song:
Twinkle Twinkle cohavim (stars)
Shining in the shamayim (sky)
When I say the Shma each day
Everything will be OK
When I say the Shma each night
Everything will be all right.  (if saying at bedtime, follow with the Shma)

Readiness  - Write the numbers 1-10 on cut out stars. Ask your child to arrange the stars in the correct order

Mitten match- collect several pairs of mittens or gloves. Mix them up and have your child match the pairs

Hickory Dickory Dock-time to learn the clock
Draw a large Clock and use a brass "brat" to attach hands. Share the nursery rhyme but also begin to show the short hand at the hour. Learn 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 o'clock and so on...
