Presbyterian Outlook Celebrates 200th Anniversary
The Presbyterian Outlook magazine asks you to share the following invitation in your church bulletin. 

On October 5, the Presbyterian Outlook magazine celebrates its 200th anniversary at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond. You are invited to join for a time of celebration and inspiration. Dr. Brian Blount, president of Union Presbyterian Seminary, will address “Flesh in the Word: A Presbyterian outlook for our time.” Dr. Ted Wardlaw, president of Austin Theological Seminary, will challenge and inspire you with “Navigating between ‘amen’ and ‘no:’ The dilemma and promise of The Presbyterian Outlook.” Register by September 30.

Weaving Generations Together ​for Faith Formation
The Mid-Atlantic chapter of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators invites you to a conference on intergenerational ministry October 14-16. Examine the needs of today’s society to understand how they impact church membership. Learn how to ​model intergenerational ministry through teaching sessions with program leader Renda Brinson. The retreat will be held at St. Francis Springs Prayer Center just across the Virginia state line in Stoneville, North Carolina.
Tabor Hosts Seminary President
Tabor Presbyterian Church in Crozet hosts Rev. Dr. Brian K. Blount, president and New Testament professor at Union Presbyterian Seminary, for dinner and a presentation on October 15. Hear how understanding our context might help us to understand and consider the context of others, so that we might better engage and love our neighbors. Dinner begins at 6:30 and the presentation at 7:15. Free will offering will be taken for dinner. RSVP requested by October 7. RSVP to Rev.
