Serving Our Children
     We're grateful for your support, helping us serve
Minnesota children!  Our free, healthy meals
will give them a great start  as they begin a new school year . 
    Loaves & Fishes' Summer Food Service Program served
more than 23 thousand meals, helping families like Jenny's. 
     Jenny is a working mom with four children. 
During the summer months, her kids don't have access 
to free lunches they receive at school.
     The family is one of many who joined us at 
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Hastings.
     Jenny said, "It makes it easier for us on our budget. It's really good... I'm thankful they're here to help."
     Although our summer programs have wrapped up, we welcome families at all of our dining sites.

       WHY I VOLUNTEER: 
Rhonda looks forward to serving meals 
at our dining site in Hastings, every summer. 
"I enjoy seeing children and seniors come and eat. I know that they are fed, and it makes me feel good," said Rhonda.
We appreciate all of our regular volunteers who helped us throughout the busy summer months!

Please join us for "A Warehouse Affair," our largest fundraising event of the year, on Saturday, September 28.
We have a new format this year, with the same great food and fun! 
Guests will enjoy: 
chef-selected dishes from food trucks, restaurants and our farm, 
complimentary wine pairings and brewery tastings, 
live music, raffles and our popular live & silent auctions.

   Meals Help Dave Stay in His Home
When Dave suffered a stroke in 2009, his life changed dramatically. He couldn't work his good paying factory job any longer. 
Now, the 67 year-old works various part-time jobs 
and struggles to make ends meet .
Dave dines with us at our two sites in Richfield. 
He says he's able to save over $300 a month 
that he uses to pay for housing.
