Congress asked to fund rural broadband internet connectivity in wake of coronavirus
Microsoft has joined the voices advocating that Congress help expand rural communities' access to broadband, saying that pandemic-related disruptions in work, health and education have highlighted its necessity. "As we embark on the third decade of the 21st century, every American deserves the opportunity to access broadband," stated Brad Smith, the company's president.
