of honoring leaders within our organization.The awards recognize leading businesses, nonprofits and individuals who go above and beyond in their support of the Chamber and Midway community through volunteering of their time, staff and other resources.

The Achievement Gap
Minnesota likes to pride itself on being at the top of many lists. But one list we are unfortunately near the top is the academic achievement gap. What does this mean for our state's economy and what can be done to help shrink the gap? We will be joined by Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities CEO Michael Goar. A former Interim Superintendent of Minneapolis Public Schools and executive director of Generation Next, Goar brings expertise and a passion to our topic.

This is an opportunity for new members, members who want to reengage with us or have new employees that wish to build their Midway Chamber of Commerce network.
