Dear Lovejoy Families,
Dear Lovejoy Families,

I hope this email finds your family healthy and happy. As most of you have heard, we will not have the opportunity to re-open Lovejoy Elementary for the remainder of the school year.  While this is the right thing to do for the health and safety of our community, we miss each and every one of our students and are saddened to miss opportunities to share experiences on campuses and through milestone events. We are working on some different ways to create some of these experiences for our students. As soon as we have details, we let you know.

Not returning to Lovejoy Elementary or Lovejoy ISD next year?
If your student is not returning to Lovejoy Elementary School please email Sondra Payne ([email protected]) with your child's name and where they will be attending school next year.  

Please remember to reference the  Leaping Into @Home Learning website  as a one-stop resource for many of your online learning needs. * *Please note under Parent Resources, you can find Counselor Resources with tips and ideas on how to practice social emotional health.
Late Night Leopards
Due to the on-going health situation and extended closure of schools throughout Texas, we are canceling in-person/on-campus Late Night Leopards events for the 2019-2020 school year. We know this is an unprecedented time for our Lovejoy Community and with uncertainty around restrictions for large group gatherings, we will not reschedule the 2019-2020 campout events. We will continue to evaluate our health situation throughout the summer as well as next fall to make a determination about future Campout events.  
Options Regarding Campout Registration Fees
With the cancelation of our in-person/on-campus Late Night Leopard events, we want to extend refund or donation options to our families for campout expenses. Each family will receive an email with a Google form that will allow you to indicate if you prefer campout funds to be refunded, applied to student lunch accounts, or donated into a campus account that will be applied towards campus security personnel. If you have not received an email regarding your refund by Wednesday, April 22nd please contact Erin Johnston at [email protected] .  

We have moved our Kindergarten Roundup online.  Please click here to begin the registration process for our newest 2020-2021 Kindergarten Leopards.   I cannot wait to meet the Lovejoy Class or 2033!
