Cancer Out Loud Podcast Series

This year, Cancer Care inaugurated its Cancer Out Loud podcast series, dedicated to telling the stories of individuals impacted by cancer, from those directly diagnosed to those caring for them.

This new platform has proven invaluable during the coronavirus, allowing us to dedicate episodes to the specific ways those with cancer have been impacted by the pandemic. From the emotional and practical impacts of social distancing to how to handle interruptions and changes in treatment, our oncology social workers have presented caring and informative episodes on how to be safe and secure during this time.

Even as cities and states change their lockdown policies, the concerns of these vulnerable populations will not diminish. Cancer Care remains dedicated to working hard on their behalf. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have been able to provide these many resources specific to the coronavirus while continuing our normal support groups, workshops, publications and other forms of support to anyone affected by cancer.

All of these resources are provided free of charge. For more on our coronavirus initiatives, please look at our landing page dedicated entirely to the pandemic. For more information about Cancer Care, please visit cancercare.org.
