May marks National Military Appreciation Month and we would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to our active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces, their military spouses and children, and veterans for your service.
During the pandemic, our military has played a major role in helping to keep America healthy by aiding in the establishment of medical treatment sites, providing shelter for displaced persons, assisting with food transportation, and numerous other logistical efforts, while continuing to defend the country.
And it’s not just the military service members who are sacrificing to keep America moving, but their spouses and children as well, who are bearing the weight of having to take care of themselves and ensuring that their households are also safe and prepared to survive this crisis.
So, here are the other important days we are celebrating this month:
Military Spouse Appreciation Day (May 8), Armed Forces Day (May 16) and Memorial Day (May 25).
To our veterans, military families, and even active duty service members, we want you to remember that
The Cohen Clinic at Easterseals is here to serve you.
