We Are Still Here...
LTC Moves to ZOOM!!
Connection is more important than ever. Since March 23rd, LTC has conducted 130 virtual support meetings on ZOOM. Thank you to our attendees, facilitators and guest speakers who have embraced this new online venture. Together we can help to ease isolation and continue to bring support, education and hope during these difficult times.
In order to maintain the essence and confidentiality of our meetings we do not post links publicly. If you would like to join a meeting please click on our 'Stay Connected' link below.
For additional support and resources please visit our website to register for our online Discussion Board which currently has over 11,000 members.
In addition, the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services is also available and offers support services to individuals and families affected by substance use disorder. Click here for more information.
Remembering our Friend and
Team Member Vicky Ruvido
Vicky meant so much to so many. For our LTC families Vicky was a fierce advocate and educator. In the Spring of 2018, Governor Baker appointed Vicky as a Commissioner on The Commission of the Status of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Vicky was also a part of Attorney General Maura Healey's Advisory Group on the Purdue Pharma lawsuits. Vicky touched countless lives. We are so grateful for her work and friendship over the years.
Rest easy friend. xo
In these extraordinary times we send love to our Learn to Cope families who have experienced loss due to substance use or COVID-19.
Learn to Cope will host a second webinar on the Purdue Pharma bankruptcy. Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey’s legal team will give updates on the Commonwealth’s case against Purdue and the Sackler family. Volunteers from Boston College Law School will explain how Massachusetts residents can get free help filing individual claims in the bankruptcy. Bring your questions -the panelists will answer questions from the audience.
