Educator of the Year Interviews
Our Kane ROE staff have been traveling throughout Kane County to interview the nominees for Educator of the Year. This year's pool of 36 nominees contains representatives from all 9 school districts in Kane County. Make sure to follow the Kane ROE on social media for a behind the scene look at the interviews and profiles for each of the nominees.

Presenter Forms for Raising Student Achievement Conference
The Raising Student Achievement Conference will be in Schaumburg this year on December 9-10, and presenter proposals are currently being accepted. Presenting a breakout session is the perfect opportunity to share your expertise with fellow educators.

Breakout sessions should support the conference theme of raising student achievement and reflect current educational trends, educational research, and best practices in education. Proposals are due by Friday, May 17th.

New Administrator Academy #1801
This course will allow participants to learn effective skills and strategies for using Charlotte Danielson’s Framework in a summative setting in order to more effectively.

This workshop will take place on April 11, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Kane County ROE. Required recalibration training is required to attend this workshop.

New Administrator Academy #3000, 3001, 3002
This is the one required student growth retraining course for teacher evaluators who are renewing their designations required to evaluate staff. Evaluators will be required to participate in a pre-session webinar that will review Part 50 Administrative Rules as they relate to student growth.

The Progress Report: Dickinson, Poe, Frost
This week's post in The Progress Report talks about National Poetry month and how incorporating poetry into educator's curriculums can be beneficial!
