Oakley Pelton, Class of 2020, will be attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where she will major in Neuroscience. She is so grateful for the MAOS program and teachers that guided her along the way as she prepares for the next chapter in her life story. Oakley enjoyed cheering for the Toreadores, dancing on the dance team, leadership, interning at CHOMP in the pathology department as well as working at the Monterey Sports Center as a lifeguard and teaching swim lessons. Although her performance and outreach trip to Vietnam was cancelled this summer due to the Coronavirus, she is grateful that she at least was able to perform at Disneyland this past year and do a humanitarian trip to Cape Verde, Africa last summer to help build a school for orphans.
