Message from our CEO
Summer is here and there is no better time to visit your local ReStore for great outdoor living items. Furniture, lawn and garden supplies, tools and more all at up to 80% off the retail prices. As always, the proceeds from our ReStores are directed toward the operating costs of Habitat Heartland. With the support of local businesses, corporations and community groups, our two current home builds are well underway on Forbes Street in London. You can help by sponsoring a team of participants to build with us. If you are a singer, you can help in a fun and unique way by entering Finch Auto Group Party for Humanity: CLASSIC ROCK EDITION. Register and upload a YouTube video by July 12 showing your talent and you could be chosen as one of 8 contestants to compete LIVE at the London Music Hall, September 26.

Canada Life Build's Future Homeowner Steps Inside

Jennifer was on site June 24 to serve lunch to a team of volunteers helping to build what will soon be her new home. She shared with Habitat Heartland how exciting it was to actually step inside her home. It all becomes so real at moments like these.

It made Jennifer smile to think that this was the first meal she served in her new home. Like all Habitat homeowners, Jennifer is completing 500 volunteer hours as part of the Habitat home ownership program which also includes mandatory education sessions. She will pay monthly mortgage payments to Habitat Heartland`s building fund.

Thank you to Culligan for joining us on site as the Exclusive Water Sponsor for our current construction projects on Forbes Street in London.
